ABOUT THE BROWN BAG PROJECT

How did we start?

In September of 2020, we were inspired by the situation around us, especially with the ongoing pandemic, to create care packages for the homeless. We immediately created a GoFundMe page and exceeded our goal, raising over $1,100 within a week. We spent Columbus Day weekend delivering over 140 packages to the homeless of the Austin area.

 

We now have helped thousands of people within the Austin area, and have expanded our mission to help those facing food insecurity as well.
